About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Therapeutic Support Practitioner in a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.

As a Therapeutic Support Practitioner, you will provide outstanding care to children and young people who have complex needs, implementing their individual care plans and promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Provide nurturing care and support for children and young people, implementing their individual care plans.
- Take the children on activities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Liaise with families and professionals to ensure the best possible care is being provided and carried out.
- Take a proactive approach in supporting the children with attending and engaging in their education.
- Maintain accurate records of the child's day, including any incidents that may occur.
- Carry out general housekeeping duties, including cooking, cleaning, and completing health and safety checks.
- Apply safeguarding knowledge to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone in the home.
- A QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (highly desirable).
- Experience in a children's home setting or working with young people who have learning disabilities and additional needs (essential).
- Supervisory experience (essential).
- Passion to help nurture young people (essential).
- Ability to work shift patterns, including sleep-ins (essential).
- A full UK driving licence (essential).
In return, we offer a competitive salary ranging from £23,000 - £26,000 per year, dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications. You will also receive additional payments for sleep-in shifts of £65.00 per sleep-in shift, as well as a non-contractual bonus scheme of up to £850.00 per year, based on individual performance indicators and the performance of the home and the outcomes of the children.
