What You Will Be Doing

As a key member of our Site, Facilities & Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our 156-acre Barrow site. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the ongoing transformation of our site.

In this dynamic role, you will work closely with experienced professionals in areas like project management, engineering, and facility management. You'll gain hands-on experience and invaluable insight into how a complex site like ours functions day-to-day. From managing assets to ensuring health and safety standards are met, you will be involved in every aspect of our operations, making sure our facilities are always at their best.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of facilities management activities, including site services, space management, and utilities infrastructure.
  • Assist in managing and overseeing planned maintenance, refurbishments, and repairs, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
  • Engage in the full lifecycle of site and facilities management, from initial service provision to construction delivery and ongoing maintenance.
  • Respond to routine and emergency situations with effective problem-solving, ensuring minimal disruption to site operations.
  • Coordinate and manage third-party contractors performing facilities tasks, ensuring work is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
  • Foster positive working relationships within the team and with wider stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
  • Take responsibility for your work, ensuring tasks are completed safely, accurately, and to the required specifications.
Minimum Requirements

As a minimum requirement, you'll need to be on track to obtain a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree in Facilities Management. We welcome applicants from a variety of disciplines, including Business, Project, Engineering, or related fields.
