Senior Staff Field Applications Engineer

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a seasoned Field Applications Engineer to provide technical support for a portfolio of Industrial customers across the UK and Ireland Region. As part of the Regional Sales & Distribution Team, you will play a key role in driving opportunity, discovery, and design wins for Renesas products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support new and existing customers and markets in close collaboration with sales teams.
  • Secure design wins through active customer project support and technical expertise.
  • Establish relationships with technical decision makers at customers, presenting and supporting the Renesas portfolio.
  • Train distribution partners, business development managers, and field application engineers on Renesas products.
  • Work in an international business environment with regular contacts to US, EMEA, and Asia, including travel within the region for customer and partner support.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree with a minimum of 5+ years' working experience in field application engineering in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience in technical and project support for MCU/MPU with a strong understanding of Analog, Power, and connectivity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to balance technical skills with relationship-building and account management.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong direction, task management, and communication skills.
  • Good business acumen and implementation of strategic goals.
  • Very good command of English.
