We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Flow Assurance Engineer to join our team at Genesis. As a key member of our UK flow assurance team, you will be responsible for providing flow assurance analysis and technical support to our various projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in flow assurance conceptual and front-end studies, with experience in marketing and business development being a plus. You will be required to operate independently in performing and leading flow assurance studies, writing up results and reports, and communicating solutions through technical reports and presentations.

About the Role:

The Flow Assurance Study Manager will be responsible for the content and quality of all Flow Assurance work undertaken on their assigned projects. This includes liaising with other disciplines for applicable engineering interfaces, developing engineering solutions to specific project requirements, and participating in engineering coordination meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Liaising with other disciplines for applicable engineering interfaces.
  2. Developing engineering solutions to specific project requirements.
  3. Undertaking calculations in accordance with Genesis and project quality requirements.
  4. Participating in engineering coordination meetings.
  5. Participating in Project presentations to communicate results.
  6. Ensuring completion of safe and operable design following Genesis and project requirements, relevant laws, regulations, and codes.

Requirements:

  1. Recognised flow assurance professional with upstream oil and gas experience.
  2. First Degree in Chemical Engineering (or related subject) and CEng &/or PEng or equivalent international qualifications.
  3. Experience in flow assurance conceptual and front-end studies.
  4. Experience in marketing and business development is beneficial, including awareness of the local flow assurance market.
  5. Good computer literacy with particular competence in MS Office software.
  6. Full command of the English language, verbal and written.
  7. Good report writing skills.
  8. Good communication, good networking ability, and excellent social skills.
