Quality Assurance Specialist

Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a Quality Engineer to manage and coordinate Quality Assurance activities in support of project execution in accordance with the company's quality management system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate Quality Assurance activities in support of project execution
  • Lead Quality reviews of contract specific requirements at tender and order execution phase
  • Communicate effectively Quality requirements and expectations to functional areas through formal communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate with internal departments to define and resolve product quality problems and provide advice, guidance and support on all aspects and matters concerning Quality
  • Lead negotiation of Quality standards with customers and promote the external image of the Company through effective Quality management
  • Coordinate with external customers and vendors to ensure clear and concise understanding of Quality requirements
  • Support Quality initiatives to ensure the appropriate culture, knowledge, understanding and attitude towards Quality matters
  • Support continuous improvement as well as widespread acceptance and adoption of best practice
  • Develop efficient and effective processes and controls with respect to Quality performance
  • Ownership of project NCRs through to closure, prior to goods shipment
  • Support EHS requirements as applicable through project execution and facility needs
  • Promote Clyde Union Ltd Health and Safety policies to reduce potential harm to self and others
  • Maintain Human Resource activities in relation to attendance, holidays, and performance
  • Develop self within role and participate in and develop from training and developmental activities assigned to oneself
  • Travel and additional duties may be required on an ad hoc basis, so a degree of flexibility is required
Requirements:
  • University or College Degree in Engineering or Quality Management, or significant relevant Industry experience
  • Process risk management and RCFA experience
  • High level of computer proficiency (WORD, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in preparation, development, and delivery of training programs
  • Continual Improvement experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment
  • High degree of commercial acumen
  • Must be willing to occasionally travel and able to spend time away from home, full UK Driving Licence
