Library Officer

We are seeking a strong leader to manage Colne Library, a vital service that provides spaces for people to feel safe and secure, where generations of all ages can meet freely in a public place and where learning can be encouraged.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team in offering a high-quality library and information service
- Manage and supervise the planning and delivery of a diverse range of events and activities, monitoring performance as you go
- Support and encourage customers to access online information and resources, for example accessing free eBooks and newspaper apps or helping someone find reliable information, such as applying for a passport
- Work with a range of partners and volunteers to deliver library services
- Access to a local government pension
- 26 days annual leave, increasing to 32 days after five years (pro rata) plus Bank Holidays
