About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Bank Staff Member to join our team at Bright Horizons Kingston Victoria Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, blending the convenience of Bank / Locum / Agency work with the security and benefits of being an employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Nursery colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment, adhering to high standards of hygiene and room preparation.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery setting, with a passion for making learning fun and engaging.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults, and a sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the nursery and its children.
