About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bank Staff Member to join our team at Bright Horizons Kingston Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, supporting our nursery team to deliver high-quality care and education to our children.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the nursery team in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene and room preparation.
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.
- Contribute to creating a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and colleagues.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children, such as in a nursery or childcare setting, is desirable but not essential.
- A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- The ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
- A sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
- The ability to be flexible and adaptable.
