Investigo is seeking a highly skilled Knowledge & Information Manager to support the delivery of two critical technology projects within a public sector organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert knowledge and information management support to two key projects, ensuring compliance with legislation, public sector requirements, and policies.
- Develop and maintain associated knowledge and information documentation to support formal assurance processes.
- Act as a liaison between the Knowledge & Information Management Team and the projects, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Attend meetings to represent the Knowledge & Information Management Team and provide support to the projects.
- Implement Microsoft SharePoint configuration changes to specifications produced as part of the projects.
- Strong knowledge of information architecture, including taxonomies, standards, glossaries, and metadata.
- Experience in information and records management, with a deep understanding of the Public Records Act.
- Knowledge of information rights, particularly data protection and freedom of information.
- Awareness of data/information governance and risk management principles.
- Ability to analyze, interrogate, and evaluate data to inform decision-making.
- Working knowledge of risk management and working within an organizational risk appetite.
- Experience with M365 and associated knowledge and information management functions.
- Administrative experience implementing SharePoint Online information management solutions to support compliance and governance requirements in a corporate environment.
- Previous experience in a Knowledge and Information role within the public sector and knowledge of the UK Government Security Classification scheme is desirable.
