About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Relief Chef Manager to support our catering facilities for schools within your region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service, while driving sales and managing controllable costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop kitchen teams to deliver exceptional food and service standards
  • Support operational and financial performance, including stock, food, and labour costs
  • Drive sales through monthly promotions and added value events
  • Manage and improve all controllable costs
  • Oversee menu development and maintain company systems & procedures

About You:

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools. The ideal candidate will have:

  • OND or HND qualified (desirable)
  • Driving licence
  • Craft based experience using fresh ingredients
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Financial understanding of gross profit management and achieving sales targets
  • Line management experience
  • Experience within a similar environment

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, plus paid mileage. You will also benefit from working for a fast-growing, ambitious company with a dedicated L&D team to support your development.
