Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Carrington West. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our projects and services, particularly in the nuclear industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Site QA/QC Lead in ensuring the quality of our projects and services.
  • Review and verify Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and associated compliance activities.
  • Implement necessary processes to provide quality support to wider departments on the project.
  • Conduct quality audits of site activities and sub-contractor operations, both on and off site, in accordance with the Project Audit Schedule.
  • Ensure the quality standards of the project are consistently met, raising authorized project documentation where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Nuclear experience working in a quality role.
  • Oversight of subcontractors, compilation, and review of lifetime records.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • Progress reporting, raising issues, and liaising with the project and client QA/QC team.
  • ISO 9001 Lead auditor.
  • CQI membership.
  • IOSH Working Safely or equivalent.
