Nuclear Quality Control Specialist

Coyle Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality standards of our joint ventures and clients are consistently met and compliant with specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a nuclear and personal safety culture
  • Ensure quality standards are met and compliant with specifications
  • Encourage continuous improvements across projects
  • Promote and implement project quality management systems and joint venture processes
  • Interact with project construction and suppliers to ensure correct fabrication and installation
  • Conversant with nuclear fabrication specifications
  • Fluent with material certification review
  • Participate in audit activities at supplier works and on-site
  • Timely, effective, and concise reporting
  • Promote a disciplined approach to supplier deliverable approval and concurrent review of lifetime quality records
Essential Experience and Qualifications:

Nuclear experience working in a QA function or QC function with development into QA via lead audit and CQI membership.

Oversight of subcontractors, compilation, and review of lifetime records. Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and CQRM.

Maintenance of package status and progress reporting, raising issues, and liaising with the project and client QA/QC team.

Required Qualifications:
  • CSWIP qualified Welding Inspector 3.1 or 3.2
  • PCN II qualified in LPI/MPI/RI/U/T
  • Painting Inspector, Qualified, ICCOR Level 2 or equivalent
  • NEBOSH/IOSH/CCNSG Safety Passport training
  • Understanding and familiarity or working within a team culture and JV environment

General MS Office package
