Job Title: Senior Landscape Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Landscape Architect to join our team at Hunter Dunning Limited. As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for conducting landscape and visual impact appraisals, preparing planning applications and environmental statements, and collaborating with internal teams and clients to accurately understand and interpret their instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct landscape and visual impact appraisals, including Zone of Theoretical Visibility analysis, and prepare planning applications and environmental statements.
  • Create plans, illustrative materials, and graphic presentations to complement reports and studies.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients to accurately understand and interpret their instructions.
  • Undertake landscape design responsibilities, including large-scale master planning, softwork, and mitigation design.
  • Present design concepts to clients, planning officers, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the discharge of landscape-related planning conditions, such as developing landscape management and maintenance plans.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience post-chartered.
  • Proven knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, and BNS planting design software.
  • Must have a degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • CMLI is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of LVIA projects and Landscape Planning.
