Senior Landscape Architect Job in Leeds

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Landscape Architect to join our team at Hunter Dunning Ltd in Leeds, West Yorkshire. As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for conducting landscape and visual impact assessments, preparing planning applications and environmental statements, and collaborating with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct landscape and visual impact appraisals, including Zone of Theoretical Visibility analysis, and prepare planning applications and environmental statements.
  • Create plans, illustrative materials, and graphic presentations to complement reports and studies.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients to accurately understand and interpret their instructions.
  • Undertake landscape design responsibilities, including large-scale master planning, softwork, and mitigation design.
  • Present design concepts to clients, planning officers, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the discharge of landscape-related planning conditions, such as developing landscape management and maintenance plans.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience post-chartered.
  • Proven knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, and BNS planting design software.
  • Must have a degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • CMLI is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of LVIA projects and Landscape Planning.
