Healthcare Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and caring individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant. As a key member of our primary care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals with clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, blood pressure monitoring, and urinalysis.
- Provide chaperoning duties for patients during medical examinations and procedures.
- Process and manage laboratory samples requested by GPs and nurses.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by sterilizing equipment and maintaining stock levels.
- Participate in training programs to develop your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Hold a Care Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Be able to cope with occasional exposure to challenging behavior, distressing circumstances, or emotional events.
- Demonstrate a commitment to working in an adaptable and flexible manner.
Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
