About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Play and Admin Assistant in the Department of Paediatrics, Oxford Vaccine Group, Churchill Hospital, Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team in various administrative tasks, including sample collection and data management.

About the Department

The Department of Paediatrics is a world-renowned research institution, hosting internationally acclaimed research programmes in drug development, gastroenterology, haematology, HIV, immunology, neuroimaging, neuromuscular diseases, and vaccinology. Our department holds the Athena Swan Gold award, acknowledging our commitment to gender equality and innovative policies.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the team in administrative tasks, including sample collection and data management
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operation of the department
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including families and healthcare professionals
* Contribute to the development of new research projects and initiatives

Requirements

* 0.5 full-time equivalent position
* Flexibility in working days and hours to maximise sample collection
* Use of own car is a necessity
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
