As a Family Activities Manager, you'll lead the Family Activities Team to deliver outstanding members' experiences daily. Your role will involve overseeing the day-to-day management and compliance of all Family Activities for children aged 6 weeks to 16 years, creating a fun, lively, and creative atmosphere for all members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management and compliance of all Family Activities for children aged 6 weeks to 16 years.
  • Ensure the club meets statutory requirements in relation to Regulatory Bodies and work with the Club management team to ensure compliance.
  • Provide adequate care for all children in your care, adhering to statutory and VA guidelines.
  • Develop and oversee the running of a comprehensive programme of group and individual Swim lessons for children and adults, including holiday crash course activity programming and other related pool hire activities.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of STA England's requirements and Virgin Active's best practice guidelines, ensuring compliance.
  • Ensure the club is kept safe for all members through the Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults policy, with all team members and HODs fully trained on correct reporting procedures.
  • Take on the responsibilities of the Duty Shift as needed, demonstrating flexibility and dedication to the needs of the business, leading by example in all aspects of club management.
