About The Role
At BlueZoo Animation Studio, we're seeking a talented 2D Animator to join our team. As a key member of our animation team, you'll be responsible for bringing our characters to life through punchy comedic timing, charming acting choices, and attention to detail.
Day-to-Day:
- Work closely with the Animation team lead to complete main storytelling poses.
- Use the storyboard as a guide to animate assigned sequences.
- Position characters and props in key poses for animating.
- Creation of breakdown drawings and adding in-betweens.
- Animating additional settles and follow-through to polish the animation.
- Finalize the animation, including clean-up and color.
- Collaborate with the Animation team Lead and Animation Director on assigned scenes.
- Support more junior members of the team by sharing knowledge and expertise.
About You
We're looking for an individual with animation and acting skills, combined with a good sense of graphic design. You should have a good working knowledge of relevant graphics, animation, cut-out animation, and compositing software, including ToonBoom. Experience with traditional hand-drawn animation is a bonus.
