The Portsmouth Marriott is seeking a skilled Event Support Expert to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests. Located near iconic landmarks, our hotel offers a range of amenities, including the Cast Iron Bar & Grill and fitness centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with the necessary supplies.
  • Organize tables, action stations, buffets, and carts for service.
  • Communicate special meal requirements and requests to the kitchen.
  • Ensure courses are cleared and crumbed in a timely manner.
  • Manage the presentation of tableware for guests.
  • Monitor cleanliness and sanitization of tables, stations, and service areas.
  • Lead shifts and serve as a role model for the banqueting team.
  • Deliver exceptional conference and events experiences.
  • Organize daily event operations for a seamless experience.
  • Support the Restaurant and Bar operation in the Cast Iron Bar and Grill.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Events department.

This role requires working 40 hours per week over 5 days, including weekends, with a variety of early and late shifts. If you need flexibility, we are happy to discuss this with you.
