About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabricator / Welder to join our team. As a Fabricator / Welder, you will be responsible for:

  • MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
  • Working to engineering drawings
  • Jig making
  • Problem solving
  • Dressing and finishing
  • Marking and identifying materials
  • Checking that finished products comply with specifications
  • One off prototype work as well as medium batch production
  • Ability to work in and adhere to Health and Safety procedures and work instructions
  • Some knowledge and use of hand tools and machinery
  • Good standards of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Works well on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Carry out any other duties reasonable within capability including possible secondment to work in other areas on the shop floor
Requirements:
  • Fabrication experience
  • MIG Welding experience
  • TIG Welding experience
  • Ability to work with and weld Mild Steel/Stainless Steel/Aluminium to a high quality
  • Able to dress welds to a high standard and experience in graining Stainless Steel by hand (not essential but desirable)
Working Hours:

39 hour week, Monday to Thursday (4 day week) 7.00am to 5.15pm each day with 1 hour lunch.

You must be UK based and live within a commutable distance of the where the position is located. Sponsorship is not available so you will need to have full leave to remain.
