Metal Fabrication and Welding Specialist

The Selection Partnership Ltd is seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication and Welding Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Technical Division, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality metal fabrication and welding services to our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, typically from 1mm to 20mm thick.
  • Work from engineering drawings to create precision metal components.
  • Design and manufacture jigs and fixtures to aid in the fabrication process.
  • Conduct problem-solving activities to resolve issues and improve workflows.
  • Dress and finish metal components to meet client specifications.
  • Verify that finished products comply with technical requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of prototypes and batch production.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures, work instructions, and quality control measures.
  • Apply knowledge of hand tools and machinery to support fabrication tasks.
  • Ensure high standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in metal fabrication and welding.
  • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
  • Ability to work with and weld mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium to a high standard.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
