Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Gearing Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in the water industry.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Electrical Design Engineer with experience in the water and wastewater industry to work on our Severn Trent framework. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing detailed and outline designs, as well as specifications for electrical works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed and outline designs, as well as specifications for electrical works.
  • Provide technical input on a daily basis to contribute to the team of engineers and technicians.
  • Ensure that the design output meets the agreed scope of work, as well as the budgets and timescales.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from other disciplines to meet project requirements and add value to the client.
  • Attend design review meetings to monitor progress.
Requirements
  • HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience working within water or similar process-driven environment.
  • Contractual and commercial knowledge.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
