Purchase Ledger Assistant

Hello Recruitment Associates is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management company, you will play a vital role in the accurate and timely management of supplier invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Raise purchase orders and ensure timely payment to suppliers
  • Receive and post supplier invoices for approval, reconciling statements as necessary
  • Prepare payment runs for approval and manage credit card payments
  • Identify areas for cost savings and implement efficient financial processes
Additional Duties:
  • Manage office equipment and support the management of the vehicle fleet
  • SOURCE NEW SUPPLIERS AND OTHER OFFICE DUTIES AS REQUIRED
Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and experience with SAGE an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and think critically
  • GCSE maths and attention to detail essential
  • 'Can do' work ethic and enquiring mind required
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time, minimum 4 days per week in office
  • Based in Hatfield, Herts (AL9)
  • Competitive salary £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
