Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Motivation and Compensation Specialist to join our team in Basingstoke.

About the Role

This newly created position offers the opportunity to support our team in delivering compensation, benefits, pension, and recognition initiatives. As the primary point of contact for reward-related enquiries, you will adeptly handle data and work collaboratively with stakeholders to find solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all requests for job evaluations for staff grade roles (L7H and below) are completed in good time and that the output is consistent.
  • Own the HR system approvals for new positions and position changes, ensuring all positions align with the agreed and communicated grading, salary benchmarking, and titling convention.
  • Complete regular external benchmarking surveys to ensure accurate compensation data.
  • Maintain compensation data through regular auditing and collaboration with stakeholders, including HR shared services, payroll, and HR systems teams.
  • Escalate reward queries from the Total Reward Administrator and act as a source of expertise, working collaboratively to find solutions.
  • Review and improve existing Reward processes, ensuring they are fully documented and up-to-date.
  • Provide accurate MI and analysis from multiple HR systems for external benefits suppliers and relevant internal contacts.
Requirements
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and proficient in one area of Total Reward (Compensation, Benefits, Recognition, Pension, Wellbeing).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to use own initiative to deliver results within a demanding environment.
  • Good understanding of job evaluation methodologies, preferably Willis Towers Watson Global Grading.
