About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in South Yorkshire. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting young people within a classroom setting and promoting an inclusive learning environment.

Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role would have at least 20 days' experience in a classroom setting within the last two years. A recognised higher level teaching assistant qualification or equivalent is essential, along with a high level of flexibility and dedication to your role.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supporting young people within a classroom setting
  • Providing support to the class teacher and delivering engaging lessons
  • 1:1 support for students identified as having additional learning needs
  • Promoting an inclusive learning environment and modelling ideal behaviours
  • Preparing classroom resources
  • Assisting with extra-curricular activities and school trips

The estimated salary for this role is £27,000 - £37,000 per annum, depending on experience.
