About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled VAT Manager / Assistant Manager to join our team at Workingmums. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on VAT matters to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide VAT advice and guidance to clients across a range of industries, including SMEs, large corporates, and non-profits.
- Conduct VAT audits and reviews to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and implement VAT strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize cash flow.
- Collaborate with other members of the financial services team to deliver high-quality services to clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in VAT management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of GBP50,000 - GBP70,000, depending on experience. Our firm is known for its commercially astute, partner-led services tailored for SMEs, large corporates, non-profits, and high-net-worth individuals. We have 30 partners and around 300 staff, providing services in audit, taxation, private client services, VAT, and forensic accounting.
