We are seeking an exceptional Early Childhood Educator to join our founding team at Ark Start Nurseries, located in South London. As a Level 3 qualified educator, you will provide the highest standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for all children in your care.


In this role, you will work closely with our dedicated team to ensure every child has a joyful, engaging, and secure nursery experience, leaving us ready to start school happily and confidently. You will be responsible for promoting high standards of the nursery at all times, interacting with outdoor and forest learning, cooking, and gardening, and taking learning beyond the classroom.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage young children to enjoy learning about their environment through fun games and activities
  • Develop social awareness through interactions with other children
  • Maintain safe and child-friendly classrooms and outside play areas
  • Promote the nursery's high standards to parents, staff, and visitors
  • Keep accurate records of children's development and share with parents and carers

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care or willingness to work towards it
  • Awareness of keeping children safe and knowing how to take appropriate action
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and use own initiative
