Culinary Expertise Required

NHS Scotland is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Ayrshire Central Hospital. As a key member of our catering department, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for patients, staff, and visitors, including therapeutic diets
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and food safety
  • Monitor and record data for HACCP and Environmental Health
  • Collaborate with the catering team to ensure seamless service

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent qualification
  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
