About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and residents, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care or equivalent.
  • Ability to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Care.
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise.
