Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils in a classroom environment, working closely with the class teacher to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to pupils in a classroom setting, assisting with lessons and activities as guided by the class teacher.
  • Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis, providing additional support and guidance as needed.
  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of lesson plans, ensuring that all materials and resources are available and accessible.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being among pupils.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or in a care environment.
  • Ability to travel across the area, with a valid driving license and access to a vehicle (if applicable).
  • Enhanced Child DBS certificate, registered with the update service (Teaching Personnel can assist with this).
  • Safeguarding certificate (Teaching Personnel can assist with this).
  • Passion and drive to make a difference in the lives of young people.
