Job Title: Climate Risk and Resilience Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Climate Risk and Resilience Consultant to join our Sustainability Consultancy team at Savills. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in developing climate action solutions and addressing the climate crisis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and delivery of climate risk and resilience services, with a focus on physical climate risks and adaptation strategies.
  • Collaborate with our Principal Climate Risk and Resilience Consultant to develop and implement climate risk assessments and resilience plans for our clients.
  • Provide expert advice on climate risk and resilience to our clients, including presentations and written reports.
  • Support the development of techniques and tools to assess asset vulnerability and address adaptation in real estate portfolios.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing and case study materials to showcase our climate risk and resilience services.
Requirements:
  • BSc/BA degree in Meteorology & Climate Science, Climate Risk, Geography, or Sustainability, or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the physical climate risk field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Desirable:
  • MSc or MEng in Meteorology & Climate Science, Climate Risk, Geography, or Sustainability, or equivalent.
  • Professional qualification such as IEMA, Energy Institute (EI), CIBSE, or similar.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the physical climate risk field.
  • Knowledge and experience of implementing climate resilience and adaptation solutions in the real estate sector.
