Babcock International Group is a leading provider of complex products and services for defence, aerospace, and other high-value markets. We're seeking a skilled Curriculum Development Lead to join our team at our Lyneham site.

The Role

As a Curriculum Development Lead, you will play a critical role in planning, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the curriculum for our Army Apprenticeships contract. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our curriculum is up-to-date, aligned with ESFA, Ofsted, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and update our Apprenticeship curriculum, creating new teaching materials and resources.
  • Coordinate with other departments and the Army to ensure that our records reflect the curriculum being taught.
  • Coordinate with other departments and the Army to ensure we have assessment results and evidence needed for moderation.
  • Update mapping of Army delivery into the Apprenticeship.
  • Support the delivery of training to internal teams.

Essential Experience

  • Considerable experience in a curriculum development role.
  • Experience in content design and development.
  • Good understanding of work-based learning programs.
  • An understanding of engineering qualifications and apprenticeships.
  • Ability to design curriculums, taking a set of standards and creating a program of delivery and content.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for utilizing existing evidence, RPL, and mapping into other programs.

Qualifications

  • Engineering qualifications minimum level 3.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
