Job Title: Finance Associate (Graduate)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our growing FinOps team at flinder. As a Finance Associate, you will play a key role in delivering Smart Finance Function services to our clients in the Tech, SaaS, and e-commerce sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize cloud accounting systems to maintain accurate records for a portfolio of clients.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, process receipts and payments, and prepare VAT returns.
  • Prepare suggested payment run files, monthly payroll changes, and communicate with our payroll team.
  • Complete period-end close activities, including prepayments, accruals, and journals.
  • Prepare monthly accounts, including standard reporting from the accounting system.
  • Support finance managers with monthly and quarterly reporting, including account closing procedures.
  • Liaise with clients and develop strong working relationships.
Requirements:
  • Degree of 2:1 or higher in a related business, finance, or accounting field.
  • Strong computer, data, and process skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to proactively question everything to improve quality and processes.
  • Approach that prioritizes client satisfaction.
  • Drive and desire for progression within flinder.

Additional Information:

You will predominantly be based in London and travel to client sites will be required at times. From time to time, you may work from home depending on business and client needs. Your skills and experience will determine the entry level and progression within flinder will be dependent on performance.
