Our Vision

About the Role

The Group Tax Director will be responsible for developing and implementing our tax strategy, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of corporate tax, VAT, and employment tax, as well as experience in managing stakeholders and building effective teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement our tax strategy, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
  2. Manage tax risk and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Head of Finance, to ensure effective tax governance.
  4. Build and manage a high-performing tax team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with HMRC, auditors, and tax advisers to ensure compliance and optimize our tax position.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in tax and a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Expertise in corporate tax, VAT, and employment tax.
  2. Experience in managing tax risk and ensuring compliance.
  3. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  4. A proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
