An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and skilled individual to work as part of the Fracture Clinic team, providing high-quality care to patients with orthopaedic needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing individual patient care needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating plans of care in accordance with agreed policies and professional guidelines.
Key responsibilities include working autonomously to undertake holistic assessments, providing treatment to patients, and assisting the Lead Orthopaedic Practitioner in the development of new and current services.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude towards flexibility and change.
They will be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, participating in the delivery of formal and informal teaching, and acting as a resource for education and development within the service.
Main Duties
- Undertake holistic assessments to implement management plans for patients.
- Provide treatment to patients attending the Plaster Room and assist the Lead Orthopaedic Practitioner in the development of new and current services.
- Work closely with the Lead Nurse, Managers, and the Multidisciplinary Team to provide high-quality and cost-effective patient-focused services.
- Participate in the delivery of formal and informal teaching and act as a resource for education and development within the service.
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
