Job Overview:

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as full-time Special Educational Needs (SEN) SEMH Teaching Assistants. This role is perfect for those with a strong understanding of SEN, working from 8:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to pupils in various learning contexts to aid their learning, development, and progress across the curriculum.
  • Empower and support pupils with a range of needs to achieve their educational and personal goals.
  • Promote equality, diversity, and the rights of our pupils to be treated with respect and seen as learners.
  • Place emphasis on support and empowerment for our pupils.
  • Promote a greater understanding of Special Education issues and uphold the values of the school.
  • Provide high-quality support in all aspects of the role.

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional or personal experience in SEN is required for this role.
  • The ability to work effectively with pupils, teachers, and other staff members.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
