We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Nightingale Nursing Home. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Home Manager to achieve our mission of providing the highest standards of care to our residents.
- Ensure care plans are completed within the required timescales and evaluated at least once a calendar month.
- Ensure all team members are fully competent with medication, including weekly audits and timely medication requests.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3).
- Minimum of three years' experience in a residential or nursing home setting, with at least one year in a dementia care environment.
- Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning.
- Satisfactory Care Character Assessment.
- Live within 30 minutes of the Home.
- Two years' experience in a similar role in a nursing home.
- One year experience of caring for residents living with dementia.
- Experience of supervising team members.
- NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or above.
- Experience as a Senior in Health or Social Care or above.
