Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet the needs of NHS Scotland
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure the delivery of best value contracts
  • Provide customers with excellent product choice and quality
  • Contribute to the strategic sourcing programme targets

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level in a relevant business discipline
  • Membership of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience of successful track record in strategic sourcing
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
