Pharmacy Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our team at our pharmacy in Ashby Primary Care Centre in Doncaster. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and contributing to the growth and development of our team.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, working in a community pharmacy that is commutable from surrounding towns and cities. Our pharmacy is located in a medical centre, with a good relationship with the GP surgery. We provide a wide range of services, including all NHS contractual services, and have a strong focus on patient care and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient care and services
  • Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing, patient counseling, and administrative tasks
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the Area Operations Manager and Regional Operations Manager to achieve business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and implement changes as necessary
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An MPharm degree or equivalent
  • Management experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A strong focus on patient care and community engagement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
