About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Work professional to join our Fostering Team as a Team Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of Social Workers and Family Support Workers, and to contribute to the development and delivery of our Fostering Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of Social Workers and Family Support Workers
  • Jointly responsible for the allocation of work and monitoring of service provision
  • Assist with the recruitment and supervision of new team members
  • Develop and implement new initiatives to improve service delivery and outcomes
  • Work closely with other teams and services to ensure effective collaboration and communication
Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with experience in Fostering and Child Protection
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of supervising and developing staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and demands
  • Passion for improving outcomes for children and young people, and commitment to delivering high-quality services
