Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join a leading Main Contractor on a permanent basis, based in their offices in West London.

The company has a rich history of delivering high-profile projects, including mixed-use, commercial, and residential schemes.

As a Senior Planner, you will provide a comprehensive construction planning service, promoting a structured and flexible approach to the company's planning strategy.

  • Develop detailed tender programmes and method statements for inclusion in tender submissions.
  • Provide a contract planning service, including provision of target programmes and procurement schedules, monitor progress, attend progress meetings, issue progress reports, and reprogramming as required by the planning brief.
  • Promote the company at pre-qualification, tender, and contract interviews, presentations, and meetings.
  • Conduct research into new and innovative building techniques and advise the Head of Planning and tender/contract teams of any potential benefits.
  • Visit sites to assess conditions and constraints to be taken into account in preparing tender programmes and method statements.
  • Assess requirements and provide comprehensive scaffold and crane schedules to be used in obtaining competitive and realistic quotations.
  • Provide information release schedules to the contract team.
  • Compile comparative programmes for use in substantiation of claims or in disputes.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to develop optimum economic and realistic programming solutions and effectively communicate these to internal and external contacts.
  2. Extensive experience working on large mixed-use, commercial, and residential schemes for a reputable Main Contractor.
  3. Proficiency in Asta Power Project, Microsoft Project, and MS Office.
  4. Up-to-date knowledge of Local Authority Regulations.
