About the Role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Planner to support our Real Estate Division in London. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Commercial Developer and Industrial, Sciences and Technology teams to deliver projects that meet our clients' objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project management commissions in developing plans and programmes to deliver our services and projects.
  • Monitor and report against these plans, ensuring safe and efficient outcomes that meet agreed profit and client satisfaction objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, peers, and other stakeholders to provide future business opportunities.
  • Produce detailed integrated programmes, including design, procurement, and construction plans, fully backed up by a build strategy, construction methodology, logistics scheme, and phasing plans.
  • Provide planning advice and direction to project team members and stakeholders, and produce programme assurance reports on client commissions.
  • Apply critical path analysis and assess the impact of change on critical and non-critical activities, delivering information regarding changes and delays that have impacted the programme.
  • Provide specific programme outputs to analyse 'Compensation Events', 'Early Warning Notices' impacts, and work as part of T&T's Contract Advisory services to produce Delay analysis reports.
  • Produce progress reports showing variance against baselines and deliver Period Programme Updates and input to project reports.
  • Coordinate between clients and their partners', consultants', and contractors' programmes of works and compliance with the Project Programme, reporting areas of 'non-compliance' for resolution.
  • Provide planning support to the bidding team to submit bidding documentation in time.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of delivering projects as a Senior Planner/Project Planner with 10+ years of experience with a UK-based main contractor or project management consultancy.
  • Experience on a variety of projects, such as Residential, Commercial, Education, Leisure, Industrial, Health, and Retail.
  • Proficient use of Asta Powerproject (Primavera and Microsoft Project an added bonus).
