Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistant to join our team. As a Coffee Shop Assistant, you will be the face of our Coffee Shops, serving our customers delicious coffee, freshly-baked bread, cake and pastries, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service while supporting with events, answering telephone enquiries, preparing food and drinks, clearing tables and washing up, engaging with customers, and handling customer complaints professionally.
  • Open up coffee shop for service, including taking delivery of goods, stocking rotation, displaying products, and checking coffee shop cleanliness.
  • Perform general duties such as ensuring the entire shop is clean and tidy, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning toilets, and tidying outdoor areas.
  • Support the manager/supervisor with creating inspirational social media content and place orders with Head Office for stock items.
Requirements
  • Work with initiative as part of a team, have a calm, cheerful and helpful disposition, and work within our Honesty Shop standards, respecting food safety and health and safety requirements.
