Job Title: Instrument Systems Engineer

Location: Aberdeen

About the Role:

The Instrument Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing front-line Instrument and Control Engineering support to the operations site-based team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engineering modifications where Instrument and Control Engineering is the main discipline.
  • Provide technical discipline input to the Projects team.
  • Ownership of the relevant Unity Performance Standards.

Accountabilities:

  • Adhere to and promote Ineos 20 Principles and 7 Life-Saving Rules to colleagues and external vendors.
  • Specify, scope, and execute improvements to instrument and protective systems.
  • Act as asset Instrument and Protective Systems Engineering Focal Point for site projects, including studies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Instrument Engineering or Equivalent.
  • Chartered Engineer or actively working to achieve chartered status.
  • BOSIET, Medical, and MIST for offshore travel.

Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in Oil and Gas, Refining, or Chemical Industries.

Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding and applied knowledge of relevant UK Regulatory and industry standards.
