NES Fircroft Ltd is a leading provider of technical talent to the oil, gas, and energy industries. We are working with a Crop Protection Solutions Company who is looking to recruit two Process Engineers to join their Process Technology Active Ingredient (PTAI) in Grangemouth.

Job Description

">

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a multi-discipline team supporting large scale fine chemical manufacturing plants within an upper tier COMAH site. Initially, the focus will be on supporting the Active Ingredient plants with day-to-day troubleshooting, process optimisation, and capital improvement projects from initial feasibility studies right through to commissioning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">
  • ">
  • Degree level education in Chemical or Process Engineering, 1st class/2:1 Master's degree required.">
  • Chartered Member or working towards - IChemE (for UK only).">
  • Experience in a Fine Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, Design or Production environment preferred.">
  • Knowledge of process risk assessment systems (e.g. HAZOP etc.), and relevant HSE standards (Safety Instrument Systems, Pressure Relief, DSEAR, etc).">
  • Knowledge of process engineering fundamentals, ideally, with practical experience.">

Salary Information

We estimate the salary for this position to be in the range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
