Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at Resourcing Partnership Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the timely manufacture of quality products to defined targets and by the efficient use of resources available.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Organize and manage the day-to-day production schedule for all manufacturing business units to achieve targets defined by sales, transport windows, and customer requirements.
  2. Ensure that all products meet company and customer quality and quantity standards.
  3. Optimize plant operations to achieve maximum speed and efficiency, and provide training to Production Team Leaders and Operators.
  4. Ensure timely availability of necessary materials and resources for the production process.
  5. Maintain a clean and tidy shop floor and site, adhering to company procedures on cleanliness.
  6. Support the development of Production Team Leaders and Operators to continually improve performance.
  7. Appraise employee performance using the company's performance management system.
  8. Maintain conformance with company rules and regulations.
  9. Communicate with the General Manager on operational performance and order completion times.
  10. Identify and develop training plans for employees, ensuring timely and effective training.
  11. Undertake training required to maintain continuous professional development.
  12. Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and legislation affecting food manufacture.
  13. Adhere to company systems and procedures regarding paperwork and training.
  14. Participate in the company's Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) team.

Requirements:

  1. Analytical and detailed approach to problem-solving.
  2. Solid production planning knowledge and experience.
  3. Hands-on management experience in a similar food manufacturing environment.
  4. Demonstrable employee development skills.
  5. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  6. Excellent communication skills.
  7. A self-starter attitude with comfort working independently.
