Job Title:

Apart from maintaining the cleanliness of all areas, including changing rooms, showers, toilets and poolside facilities, you will also be responsible for ensuring that all gym equipment, floors and surfaces are cleaned and sanitised regularly.

Responsibilities:
  • Empty trash bins, replace liners and dispose of waste properly
  • Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for members and staff
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety guidelines
  • Report maintenance issues, hazards or potential safety concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries or requests promptly and courteously
  • Maintain a professional demeanour and uphold the club's reputation for exceptional customer service
Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £11.44 per hour for over 21's and National Minimum Wage for under 21's.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in domestic or cleaning roles
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
  • Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks involving standing, walking, bending, lifting and using cleaning equipment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Please note that basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment would be desirable.
