Pertemps Manchester is currently recruiting for a Courier Operative to join their team in Longridge, PR3 3AA. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for delivering parcels across the region, working a minimum of 6 hours per day.

The role involves driving vehicles up to transit size, making up to 60 drops per day and capturing customer signatures using a hand-held computer device. You will also be required to sort mail at the local delivery office before starting your shift.

In return, you can expect a competitive hourly rate of £13.37ph and flexible working patterns that allow you to work independently or as part of a team. To succeed in this role, you should be upbeat, self-motivated and have a strong sense of community. A full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points is essential.

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around £26,000-£30,000 based on a 35-hour week and 52 weeks per year.

This is a temporary contract with varying hours and length of assignment, which may not meet client needs and are not guaranteed.
