You will work independently with latitude for determining materials and will be responsible for interpreting policy in terms of established objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect plumbing fixtures and associated equipment
- Perform general support duties in preparation for maintenance and repairs
- Clean and maintain plumbing fixtures and associated equipment
- Repair and replace plumbing fixtures and associated equipment
- Install plumbing fixtures, lines, pipes, and associated equipment in municipal facilities
- Procure and/or manage inventory to ensure products and services are available to meet operational needs
- Possession of a Driver's License
- Journeymen Plumber Certification from the Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board
- Journeymen Gas Fitter Certification from the Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board
- Experience reading and interpreting mechanical engineer drawings
- Experience installing and repairing various piping systems
- Salary range: $52,686 - $81,744 (starting salary is commensurate with education and experience)
