QHSE Manager Role Overview

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Careers is seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to join our team in Chippenham. As a QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and driving the operational and functional SHEQ management for a leading UK provider of industrial water treatment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead QHSE management, ensuring continual improvement and compliance with ISO standards.
  • Foster a positive QHSE culture by engaging stakeholders and embedding best practices.
  • Develop and manage QHSE systems in collaboration with management and colleagues.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in QHSE management, preferably in an engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
